At Surf Everyday Academy in Tamarindo, we believe surfing is for everyone — but to truly ride at your best, your body must be prepared beyond the waves. That’s why we incorporate the U.NATURAL Method into our training regimen.
Surfing doesn’t just use your arms and legs — it demands full-body coordination, deep hip mobility, core stability, and fluid, dynamic movement patterns. Many of these muscle groups and movement ranges aren’t used in typical workouts. The U.NATURAL Method was designed to improve strength, cardio, flexibility, mobility, and coordination for everyone — from kids to professional athletes.
Yes — yoga or Pilates can help. But they don’t cover the full spectrum of what surfing requires. The U.NATURAL Method trains multiple movement planes, dynamic flows and breath techniques — the same kind of training that many top WSL surfers rely on to stay consistent and injury-free.
