At Surf Every Day Academy in Tamarindo, Costa Rica, we believe that true surfing begins with awareness, confidence, and safety.
Our mission is to help every student feel comfortable and independent in the ocean — while progressing with purpose.

Each surf session starts with a short theory and safety briefing, where we explain ocean dynamics, board control, and wave behavior. Understanding the ocean before entering it is the foundation of real progress and self-confidence in surfing. We care deeply about the safety and growth of our students.
 

Our certified instructors adapt every lesson to your pace, ensuring you build solid skills while enjoying the experience. We offer both group lessons and 1:1 private coaching to match different learning styles and comfort levels.
 

Whether you prefer the energy of a small group or the focus of individual attention, we’ll make sure you feel supported from your first wave to your last ride.

Our academy also provides the widest range of surf-specific land training in Tamarindo — from balance and mobility exercises to surf-skate and dry drills that accelerate your progress in the water.

We teach in English and Spanish, creating a friendly, inclusive atmosphere for surfers from around the world.
