Surfskate Classes in Tamarindo:
Train Your Surfing on Land
Surfskate is the closest thing to surfing you can do on land. The board turns like a surfboard, so you can repeat the movements of a real wave (compression, extension, bottom turn and cutback) dozens of times in one session, without waiting for the next set.
At Surf Every Day Academy we use surfskate as part of the MAP Técnica Surf Method, a biomechanics-based system built on more than 25 years of surf-movement research. Your coach is ISA-certified and an ISA surf judge, so every drill targets what changes your surfing in the water.
Who it's for: beginners who want to feel the surf stance before their first lesson, intermediate surfers stuck on their turns, kids, and anyone in Tamarindo on a flat day.

FAQ
Do I need skateboarding experience? No. We start with stance and balance on flat ground and progress at your pace.
Will surfskate really help my surfing? Yes. The board reproduces the rail-to-rail movement of a surfboard, so your body learns the turn before you try it on a wave.
Can kids join? Yes, with a helmet; we adapt the class to their age.
What should I bring? Closed shoes, comfortable clothes, water and sunscreen.
