Choosing between a group, semi-private or private surf lesson in Tamarindo depends on how you like to learn, who you are traveling with and how fast you want to progress. At Surf Every Day Academy every lesson is taught by an ISA-certified instructor and surf judge, lasts about 2 to 2.5 hours depending on ocean conditions, and never has more than 3 students per instructor.

Group surf lesson in Tamarindo: ₡30,000 per person

A group lesson is the best choice if you are traveling solo, with friends, or you simply enjoy learning in a relaxed and social atmosphere. When the group is bigger we add more instructors, so the ratio stays at 3 students per instructor and you still get personal feedback.

Semi-private surf lesson: ₡36,000 per person

Ideal for couples, families and friends who want to learn together at their own pace. The lesson is adapted to your small group, so nobody has to keep up with strangers.

Private surf lesson: ₡41,000 per person

One-on-one coaching gives you the fastest progress. It is a great option if you feel nervous in the water, if you already surf and want to fix your technique, or if you have limited time in Tamarindo and want to make the most of it.
